RUSSIAN BROADCASTING STATION IDENTIFIED •Ter United Press Association.] PALMERSTON N., October 26. The identity of the Russian broadcasting station which for three months has been puzzling short-wave set owners in the dominion was established last night, by Mr W. A. Waters, assisted by a Russian resident. The station is located at Khabarovsk, and is Soviet controlled. REPORT DENIED CHRISTCHURCH, October SO. The ‘ Star’s ’ wireless expert denies the Palmerston North report that the Russian mystery station is Khabarovsk, saying that the latter operates on 20 and 100 metres. The mystery station announces in English, and it operates on. 60 metros. RFK WELLINGTON, October 26. ■A Wellington listener last Saturday night heard the Russian 60-metre station with perfect clarity on a loud speaker. It announced itself as RFN. This is tho well-known call of the Khabarovsk station.
