DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. There was nob very much variation in banking', prices, and small margins divided the buying and selling quotations. New Zealands and Commercials firmed somewhat, and there was demand lor Union Bank rights at 49s 6d, with sellers asking 52s 6(1. There was very little demand for insurance shares, while tho shipping section remained much about the same. There_ have been steady inquiries for Taupiri Coals at 255, without bringing forward any sellers. National Mortgages were freely quoted, sellers asking 75s and buyers offering 7]s. New Zealand Refrigerating shares remain fairly steady at late prices, and Auckland Amusement Paries show little change. There have been consistent buyers of Donaghy’s Ropes at 39s (id, but no sellers. Mosgicl Woollens firmed, with buyers at £6 4s and no sellers. There was a, margin of Od between buying and selling quotes in Upper Neviscs, which have remained very steady lately. There were steady buyers of Uundanntcd at liar, without response from sellers. In the War Loan section buyers were in evidence, 1933 5-1 per cent. S.S. inscribed being the only slock not quoted. Sale reported; Union Bank (rigids), 50s 6d prom. Quotations as under:— BANKING.
