TRAMWAY BAND
The „eighth series of the Tramway Baud sacred concerts will bo hold in the Empire Theatre to-morrow evening, commencing at 8.10. The programme is again of the usual high standard. The vocal side of a long and varied programme will be taken with sacred solos by Mas Ethel Bolau (‘Arise, O Sun"). Airs Edward. Stone (‘ ,Sink, Red Bun’), Miss Vanda Duncan. (‘Children’s Home’). Mr Fergus M'.lvor (‘Bevend the Dawn’). Mr Edward Andrews, by special request, will render a number of solos on Un; sylophono. The band is set down tor: March medley, ‘ Martial Moments ’; selection, ‘ 11 trovatore ’ (with effects); selections, ‘Fra DEvolo’ am! 'On the Riviera.’ The violin obbligatos will be played by Miss Anna Briasco. The accompanist will he Madame MartinolliRcggiardo. A - olloction will he taken up'to defray Hio heavy expenses, and patrons are asked to assist with silver coins. Doors open 7.15.
