CROQUET
TAIERf LADIES’ CLUB. There was a fair attendance at the annual. meeting of the Taieri Ladies’ Croquet Club, held in the Coronation Mall, Mosgicl. The treasurer reported the finances to be in a good state, and Iho secretary’s report showed a progressive year. The following oflice-hcarers were elected;—President, Mrs M‘Plica t; vice-president, Mrs Swallow; secretary, Mrs Currie; treasurer. Mrs Haig; committee —Mosdamcs Allen, Armstrong, Brcmncr', Gordon, Gibson, Pringle, Wallace. Wedderspoon, and Miss Watt: Social Committee—-Mos-clames Smeaton, Cameron, and Wright. Votes of thanks were passed to. all who had assisted in any way during the year. Supper was served at the dose of- the meeting.
