COASTAL STEAMER ASHORE
HO IMMEDIATE DANGER [Per United Press Association.] NBY PLYMOUTH, March 30. The steamer Wetere wont ashore on the beach on the north side of the Mokau River at 6 o’clock this morning when leaving for Waitnra with timber and sheep. She is lying on a sandy bottom, and there is no immediate danger. An attempt will be made to float her at high tide this evening.
