BRITAIN’S BUDGET
END GF FINANCIAL YEAR SMALLER DEFICIT ANTICIPATED. (British Official News.) Press Association —By Wireless —Copyright. RUGBY, March 28. (Received March 29, at 11 a.m.) The financial year ends on Thursday, and until then the amount of the deficit as between the national revenue and expenditure, arising from last year’s strikes, is not known. It is probable, however, that it will be smaller than was at first anticipated, ’and the newspapers suggest that it will be between £15,000,000 and £20.000,000. This amount is automatically added to the Heating debt.
