(Received April 21, at 11.50 a.m.) The biggest business deal in the hi.v tory of Australia, is on the eve of com* ple’tion. Anthony Hordern and Sons’ business has been sold to a new coTnpany for £2,900,000. The controlling capital was mostly found in Sydney, but shares are held in other capitals. Sir Mark Sheldon becomes chairman of directors of the new company. Sir Samuel Hordern is retiring from the business in order to devote his time to public matters.
