JAPANESE STORMS
COAST LIKE SWEPT DAMAGE AND LOSS OF LIFE. Presa Association—By Telegraph—Copyright TOKIO, April 20. (Received April 21, at 11.5 a.m.) Owing to storms sweeping the entire coast of Japan and the sea yesterday, over 100 fishermen are reported to bo missing. The local authorities at Maixnru, assisted by a destroyer, are engaged in a search. Other localities also suffered damage, including a largo bridge, which was ■ blown down at Inehmoseki, in tho Iwate prefecture. Two hundred houses near Sapporo were submerged. A boat, containing seven members of a wedding party, off tho Kurile Islands, capsized, and all tb occupants were drowned.—Router.
