FRENCH STEAMER SUNK
ELEVEN OF CREW MISSING
COLLISION IN A FOG.
LONDON, August 15
The French steel screw steamer St. Marc, 2,249 tons, owned by the Societe Maritime Auxiliare do Transports, sunk after a collision in a fog with the British steamer Merville. The latter was damaged, and went ashore at Ushant (France). Eleven of the St. March) crew are missing.
