ST. KILDA AND AMALGAMATION.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—l would be much obliged if you would kindly publish answers to the three following questions:— 1. If St, Kilda is amalgamated with the "city, will tho properties in the borough bo revalued? 2 How much in the £ on tho annual value is at present paid by the city ratepayers? , , „ T. In the city is tho annual value 6 per" cent, of tlio capital value? The ratepayers of St. Kilda have the capital values of their properties shown on their valuation papers. If they know the answers lo the above questions it would help them to decide how to vote. —I am, etc., August 29. .Inquirer. [l.
