EUCHRE PARTY
That the interest taken in ibis popular amusement is increasing was fully demonstrated last Saturday evening, when 350 persons took part in the tourney conducted by the Square Deal Assembly in South Dunedin Town ilall. The principal prize-wnners of the evening wore : First prize (two oalc bedsteads complete), Mrs Mulrooney and Mr Dallagher; second prize (two carpets), Airs Phail and Mr Mai hews; third prize (two dinner services), Mrs Dennison and Air Atkinson. Other prize-winners were Alesdaraes Scoones, Tabor, and Long, Messrs Bryan, Allan, and Carman. A valuable list _ of furniture prizes for Saturday next is on view in Messrs A. and j. Watt’s window, Princes street south.
