TEE VISIT TO DUNEDIN. MAYOR’S ARRANGEMENT APPROVED. Air H. Livingstone Taploy, Mayor of Dunedin, received a telegram this morning intimating that Lord Jellicoe has approved of the • arrangements made in connection with, the Dunedin farewell. The scheme stands thus: —Friday, October 10.— Arrive at 6.55 p.m. No special function arranged for that evening owing to the kfe arrival.

The Victoria League is, however,_ holding a- dance on that evening, and, if convenient to their Excellencies, the league would he delighted to have them, if only for a short stay. ' -—Saturday, October 11.—

10.30: Lay foundation stone of the new Dental School, a feature of the occasion to bo a gathering of the Boy Scouts, who will parade in force and supply a guard for the function.. The races at Wingatui are being hold on this date, and the Dunedin Jockey Club is inviting their Excellencies to attend. 7 p.m.; Dinner at Femhill Club. 8.15 p.m.: Social evening with yachtsmen of Otago, with whom will be associated the Orphans’ Club. 9.16 p.m. : Attend meeting of Masonic Lodge of Otago. —Sunday, October 12. 3.30 p.m.: Visit to Archerfield Girls’ College. —Monday, October 13. Forenoon free. 2.30 p.m. i Lay foundation stone of the New Zealand and South Seas Exhibition. 4 p.m. i Civic farewell at Octagon Hall, occupying probably forty minutes, followed by short visit to rooms of the Overseas Club, where afternoon tea will he dispensed. 7.50 p.m.! Citizens’ dinner at Tudor Hall. 8.30 p.-m. i Members of Ota to Women’s Club "at home” to Lady Jellicoe. —Tuesday, October 14. Leave by 11.15 express. His Worship has arranged thus for guards of honor:—At the railway station, on arrival, the Territorials; at the civic function in the Octagon Hall, the Cadets; at the railway station, on departure, the Territorials.
