JUNIOR CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOR
ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS. On Sunday last tho anniversary of the Dundas Street Junior Christian Endeavor Society was celebrated. Despite tho unfavorable weather, tho attendances were excellent. I'ho ordinary ChrirtSjon Endeavor service was held at 10.15, and seventy-three members wore present. Then all tho members filed into the church, and were addressed by the Rev. E. 0. Blamires on ' Heroes and Heroworship. ’ The speaker complimented tho society on tho success of the past year's work and tho phenomenal growth. Special choruses were sung by the children, and a solo was rendered by Miss A. Young.
The Dundas Street Endeavor has now well over 100 members, and can therefore boast of being the largest Christian Endeavor Society in New Zealand. Tho anniversary celebrations will ba continued to-morrow evening, when a small sale of sweets, cakes, and work will be held at 7 in tho Sunday School Hall. At 7.30 a concert is being given by the members.
