GIRLS' BAPTIST BIBLE CLASSES
On Saturday evening at North-east Valley Church a.ll Dunedin classes gathered together for their yearly missionary rally. An enjoyable tea was provided, after which the gathering adjourned to the social room, where choruses of praise were sung, games were played, and musical items and recitations were rendered. All were delighted to have Airs Richardson, tile missionary from the Inland China Alission. Her sweet and helpful talk was an uplift to all. Regret was expressed that Aliss Bradfield, one of tho Indian missionaries, was unable to be with them, owing to siclaiess. The splendid amount of some £9l was collected from the various classes, Caversham topping the list at £2O. There are still two classes to send in their missionary collections, and it is believed thafc the money will yet be raised to £IOO. The girls must be congratulated on tho self-sacrificing manner in which their money was earned and given.
