THEFT FROM BANK

SYDNEY, August 17.
A daring theft look place at the Pitt street branch of the Australian Bank of Commerce yesterday. Just before closing time, when the bank was crowded, a teller )naced a roll of 2CO £1 notes on the counter. Suddenly a hand shot out and grabbed the roll, and a man rushed from the building. Ho was chased, but escaped.
