MEXICO CITY, December 8

Five States in Mexico have revolted against President Obregon. The rebels, numbering probably 15,000 men, under the leadership of Generals Sanchez and Huerta, have been centred at Vera Cruz, whereto President Obregon, who has just recovered from a serious illness, despatched ieval soldiers. Tho rebellion occurs on the eve of the election, and General Calles, who was announced as a candidate for tile Presidency, volunteered to load the Federal forces against the rebels.—A. and N.Z.
