THE GENERAL ELECTION
Mr H, J. Farrant has been selected l as the Labor candidate for Invercargill, and has consented to stand. Rumors have been in circulation that Mr R. P. Hudson, member for Motneka, did not intends to contest that seat at the General Election. Mr Hudson states that there is no truth whatever in the rumors, and that ho fully intends.to contest the Motneka seat as a straight-out Reform candidate.—Wellington telegram.
