The House of Lords debated a- motion, by Viscount Chaplin in regard to the Government’s refusal to remove the cmoargo on Canadian cattle and' the Marquis of Lincolnshire’s amendment declaring it incumbent upon the Government to honor the pledge given to Canada. Viscount Long moved a further amendment in favor of the admission of store cattle from any dominion, subject to quarantining regulations.
