LONDON wool SALES. Messrs Dalgety an . Co., Ltd., report having received the following cable from their head office, dated London, March 21:—“Sales continued very firm; competition active. As compared with last sale's closing rates, finest merinos are rather dearer, merino wools good (a change! if any, is in seller’s favor); merino" inferior and faulty, par to 5 per cent. lowa - : cross-bred, fine and medium quality, 5 per cent, lower; cross-bred, coarse, unchanged; come-back wools unchanged ; slipo and cross-bred wools, scoured, unchanged, except cross-bred wools, faulty, 5 per cent, lower. Sales close March 30. Tho sales now show a considerable improvement on the opening rates.’’
