GISBORNE, March 22,
When the cmo Paterson versus the National Piano Company of Auckland, a claim for £3,000 damages for alleged malicious prosecution (reported in another column). was called this morning, Mr Myers staled- that a settlement had been reached, The defendant company agreed _to tho payment of a certain sum, which was considered satisfactory to both parties. The jury was accordingly discharged.
