A gentleman was travelling in the tram, and in the carriage was an old woman who appeared to be from the country. She began relating her experiences o what she had seen in tho city. What funny things those electrio trains are! she said "Why?" exclaimed another passenger; "how is that?" "Well ,it is the first time I've ever seen tramcars run on a clothes-line!" was the reply.
