PACIFIC CLUB. The fourteenth amira] meeting of the Pacific Harrier and An-V-cur Athletic Club was held in the Y M.U.A. Rooms last night, Mr C. W. Clark presiding over a large attendance of members and intending members.

Before commencing the business the Chairman called upon the meeting to sta.nd in silence as a mark of respect to tho memory of the club boys who had fallen in the Great War.

Tho Secretary of tho Otago Centre of tho New Zealand A.A.A. forwarded a circular addressed to all members of affiliated clubs warning them against forfeiting their amateur status by an infringement of the. rules set down by the centre.—Received.

In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance-sheet, the Chairman congratulated the members on the success of the past season. They had done well as individual members, but not quite, so successfully in team events. He congratulated Messrs R. G. Ferguson, and M. Levy, who had attended every club run during the past three seasons. It was a record to be proud of. The credit balance of over £lO was largely due to the energy of tho treasurer. Mr'A. F. Griffin. Mr J. A. Bond, in seconding, said that the Pacific Club was most fortunate in its officers, all of whom were very enthusiastic in their work. The success of the club was due to these officials and to tho loyal co-operation of the members. The report was adopted as read. The election of officers resulted as follows :--Patron, Mr T. K. CAVER-SHAM CLUB. The eighteenth annual meeting of the Oavcrsham Harriers' Olub was held in the Y.M.C.A. Rooms last evening, Mr T. K. Sidev M.P. being in the chair. Tho Chairman said that the Uaversham Clul had fine prospects before it, but it was a heavy loser during the war. The sport could "be recommended to all young people as a healthy and clean one. The need of training, if a young man wished to become fit, was stressed, siwi the benefits were many. Tho report was adopted. Twenty new members were elected.
