She had an uneventful passage, except for rough weather since Wednesday last. A baby was born yesterday. LOUIS THERIAIILT DAMAGED. The three-masted schooner Louis Thcriault, which arrived at Newcastle on February 5 from New Zealand, received a straining on the voyage which necessitated overhauling, and. the vessel was taken on the slips at the Newcastle slipway and Engineering Company's yards at Stockton. Going across from New Zealand tho schooner encountered the tail-end of the ga.le which caused the foundering of the four-mask-d schooner Helen U. Sterling. On arrival at Newcastle- she was making considerable water through tho rudder truck, and it was found necessary to unship the rudder. Tho vessel was taken to North Stockton, and in 28ft of water the rudder was unshipped and the vessel afterwards placed on tho slip of the company. The leak in. the rudder trunk of the Louis Theriau.lt was repaired, a new cook's galley was fitted up. and a general overhaul given the schooner.
