DUJvEDIX STOCK EXCHANGE. The only business booked on 'Change this morning was a sale of Bank of X.Z. (new issue, fully paid) at £23 10s. the market closing with further buyers at £25 7s and a seller at £23 12s od. Rise and Shines, after being neglected for some time, came in for . inquiry at 13s, but holders asked 15s. Bank and insurance scrip was in good demand, all at late rates, P. and O.s have firmed up, and £490 was offered, but no seller came forward under £525. Buyers of Huddarts have eased back to 525, but sellers advanced to 54s 6d. Westport Coals, now quoted ex div., were sought for at 325. with a seller nt o2s 'ld; while Stockton* were unobtainable at B.s 7d, 8s ICd being asked. The paid issue of_X.Z. Rr:rit;srr.-iting remain steady at 47s 3d buyer, 48s seller ; but the corn issue have advanced—buyers at 25s 3d, with sellers rit_ 265. Milburu Limes were in demand at o6s 6d. but sellers wanted 9d more. ' Daily Times ' had buyers at 51s, but no sellers under 535. Papuan Products were o lie red at 2? 7d, but without Attracting a buyer.
