RETURNING TRANSPORTS
News is to hand that the Willochra_ is on the way with Draft No. 233, consisting of 44 officers, 7 nurses, and 1,033 of other ranks. The expected date of arrival Is not mentioned, but it is known that the Willochra will make Wellington her first port of call. A P.A. message from Wellington states : If the Athenic is a clean ship she ie expected to berth about 9 o’clock on Thursday morning. She has 738 troops (mostly 1914-15 mon) and 184 soldiers’ wives. Tho Soldiers’ Reception Committee have decided to give them a reception similar to that of last Saturday’s.
