HIGHLAND PIPE BAND
At the annual meeting of members of the Dunedin Pipe Band, Pipe-major Grant presiding, the secretary (Mr D. Henderson) read the report and balance-sheet, which showed the finances to be in a very sound condition.
The Chairman, in moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, said that he was glad to be able to congratulate the members on the result of the yeir's work, and spoke in appreciative terms of the officers and members for the grt.it amount of work done during the ye*r. The year had been a very strenuous one, but members had risen to the occasion every time at the 39 parades, besides at thc-ir w&tlly practices, which they had attended.
