OBITUARY
An Auckland telegram report* the death* of Archdeacon R-. B. Comin, formerly cf the Melane3ian Mission ; aged 71. Mr John King, one of the pioneers of Victoria, died last week at his residence, Brangee, Northcote. Ho arrived in Melbourne with his parents in 1841. As a sturdy youth, Mr King, after gold was discovered, drove a. bullock waggon with merchandise to the Beechworth and other diggings. He was an enthusiastic bowler, and was a foundation member of Thornburv Club.
