A P.A. message from Gore states tJiat the body of a man who Is unknown, agod about 60, was found on Sundaylying in some gorse, on tui opened swag, near M'Nab Siding. He bad been dead probably ior two days. He bad grey hair, a dark-brown mousta-cho, and was 6ft 2in in height. A very serious accident befell a young man named M'Learn at Black's Point, Reefion, on Sunday, whilst felling a tree on the hillside. It appears that MTJeam and a chum placed a, stone wedge in tho tree to ensure its falling in a particular direction. Tho stone sprang out, and the tree came down unexpectedly, and caught MTvean with a. large limb, causing severe wounds and cute on- tho head, arid damaging one eye severely. Aid. was at once got, and everything possible done for the sufferer, whose condition is very serious.
