Dissatisfaction is expressed among members of the Auckland branch of the Seamen's Union in regard to certaini matters dealt with at the conference of the New Zealand Federated Seamen's _ Union Executive now sitting here, particularly with refereace to the resolution against the Military Service Bill, and it is surmised that the conference are contemplating a proposal for affiliation of the Seamen's Union with the Parliamentary Labor party, which, it is stated, would be strongly opposed by several of tho Auckland memhers.
