A RAILWAY DISASTER.
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON. December 21. The Board of Trade report attributes the Ditton accident on September 17 (when 15 people were killed and 50 injured) to the driver's insufficient knowledge of that section of the line and to a misleading signal. The engine was also insufficiently manned. The fire was caused by the gas, and the board recommend all railway companies to use electricity.
