BRITISH FAIR PLAY.
Despite the fact that various efforts were made to divert the Christmas trade from the legitimate toy and fancy goods shops, the strong feeling of British justice and fair play prevails, and we desire to thank the public who crowded White House all day Friday and Saturday. Their expressions of praise were evidence of our value and assortment, for we are toy and novelty specialists, and cater for the children's tastes as well as the adults' choice. We have suitable presents for the seven ages of man. Call and inspect, and our assistants will cheerfully and effectively help yon to make your choice. Open till 10 o'clock each evening. Our brilliant display. A lovely assortment of children's dinner and tea sets in china and enamel. Todd's, 156 George street [Advt.]
