ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS.
William Price, a widower of 74 years, who has been on a visit from Christchnrch to his son. a resident of Napier street, Morninglon, died suddenly last night while sitting in a chair. His son was out of the room, and hearing a noise came back to find his father lying with his head against the fender. Dr Williams was called in, but tho old gentleman was quite dead, from heart failure, apparently. An inquest was held this afternoon.
James Patterson, a youth of 18 years, fractured the lower part of his arm in a fall from a horse at Halfway Bush on Saturday evening. He was taken to the Hospital. An Auckland message stales that Margaret Hill, aged 80, was found dead in a gutter near her residence at Birkenhead, it is supposed from shock caused by a fall.
