KINGSTON" (Jamaica), August 24
A passenger who was attired in priestly robes was refused permission to land here on the ground that he is allied or suspected of participation in the. explosion plot resulting in the destruction of the Presidential palace at Port au Prince. lie was subsequently allowed ashore. He claims that he is a British subject, named Ernest Fossey, and denies the charges, alleging that he was roughly treated by the Haytian police. He jn tends to appeal to Great Britain.
