THE TRAMWAYS.
TIME-TABLE SUSPENDED. FEEDER CABLES BURNT OUT. Between 12.15 and 12.50 to-day there was a suspension of traffic on all the City lines. This was caused by two out of the five feeder cables being burnt out. Only a very limited service could bo run throughout the afternoon, no special cars being possible; and the limited service will bo continued to-night. The tramways manager desires us to say that he regrets the inconvenience caused to the public, but 'the circumstances arc entirely beyond his control. The ordinary service will be resumed as soon as possible.
