THE INQUEST. [Special to the Star.] LAWRENCE, August 5. At the inquest held fco~day at Tuapeka West touching the death of Thomas Colehan and of his wife, a verdict was returned in the case of the former thai ho met his death by a rifle shot selfinflicted when apparently in a state of unsound mind, and in the case of Mrs Colehan that she died from a rifle shot inflicted by her late husband when apparently in a state of unsound mind.
