(Received August 5, at 2.22 p.m.) At East Beverpool, in the State of Ohio, 60 workers have been buried by the caving-in of the plant and crucibles of the local steel company. Two of the unfortunates have already been taken out dead, and four are known to be fatally injured. The death list is euro to be large. The rescuing parties are hard at work. MEXICO CITY, August 4. General Bernard Royes will contest the Presidency. Another civil war is in prospect. NEW YORK, August 4. Fifty deaths are reported at Nicaragua, where the floods are the worst known for a generation. One gunboat was eunk in the harbor.
