ADDRESS-IN-REPLY.
[From Opr Special Correspondent.] WELLINGTON, August 1. The debate on the Addresa-in-Ilcply will commence to-night, but it is most difficult to cay how long it. will continue. J'ho Leader of the Opposition will follow I'no mover (Mr Jennings) and seconder (Mr Witty), who, I anticipate, will .give him something to reply to, and I shall he surprised if the debate does not go with a swing for a few dnyis. Of course, many subjects will be only lightly touched on, if at ill, until Sir Joseph Ward returns. Then Inq.erial affairs and other matters wiL be- discussed.
