DECENTRALISATION.
UNKING UP PORT’S AND RAILWAYS. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, May 24 (Received May 24. at 10.5 a.m.) The Royal Commission on Decentralisation recommend that Port Stephen.! and Jervis Bay be opened up for oversea shipping, in order to make the ports effective as a decentralisation factor, with extensive cross-country railways connecting them, ft is also recommended lo link up the New South Walts and Victorian railways at Tocutmvall and Mulwala, in the Riverin.-i. This will probably divert the grain and wool traffic to Melbourne. The connection of Broken Hill and Oondobolin is another recommendation.
