MOSGLEL RAILWAY DUPLICATION.
TO Tlffi EDITOR. Sir, —I have been reading witli much interest tho letters from “ Weekly Ticket ” and “ Short Cut ” in reference to this work. The same thing that they complain of applies to Cavorsham, Tho travelling public aro not considered for one moment by tho Railway Department. Take our now station—a very nice one, and up to date; but see the place it is put in. Erom the Main road tho building cannot be seen, and the present approach is unworthy of tho rest of tho work. When a traveller lands, say, from tho Lakes with his impedimenta, ho cannot taka a cab from the platform direct, hut has to carry it up a steep incline to the overbridge, and then down again to the road, which is, saying tho least, annoying. I could enlarge on this, but have said sufficient to let tho travelling public see the way the department studies their interests.—l am, etc., Caversham. November 1.
