Charles Lape and John Hinton, fashionably dressed young recently from England, and Lane from Melbourne —were arrested • here on Saturday on a 'series, of charges of obtaining money by the trick known as "ringing the changes." The accused wero before the Court this morning, when it was shown that they had obtained money frpm seyeral business places jn Timaru in this way, and they were sentenced to three months' imprisonment.
