m nu- WELLINGTON, August 6. ltic Chief Justice this morning sat to deal with prisoners convicted at the recent criminal sessions. Joseph Bradley, a boy convicted of indecent assault, was allowed' to go to a farm under certain restrictions William Barker, convicted of the theft of timber, was sentenced to nine months' imprisonment. Three young men convicted of assault with intent to rob were also sentenced—John Black to nine months, and Angus Black and Daniel Morris each to eighteen months.
