CHESS
The Dunedin and Oamaru Chess Clubs have completed arrangements for holding a chess match by telegraph. Play will tal:e place on two Saturday nights, and the 17th and 18th October aro the dates fixed. It is proposed to play ten boards, and the Dniedin Club's team will 1» selected from the following plavers : —Messrs D. Forsyth, R. A. Cleland, O. Balk, J. Edwards, H. F. W. Clayton, J. H. F. HameL J. Crow, A. FJlk. G. D. Wright, J. Stone. S. Myers. F. J. Moaat, Rev. A. T. Chodowski
