NEW SOUTH WALES v. QUEENSLAND. The wicket at Brisbane yesterday was sticky. New South Wales in their first innings made 155. Duff put on 56 and Jamieson 40, but the other wickets fell rapidly. Miller took five wickets for 46 runs. Queensland in their second innings only scored 53, Evans (17) and Lewis fJ4) being the top scorers. Grounds took three wickets for 1 run, Cotter four wickets for 5 runs. The visitors require to make 33 runs in their second innings to win. BRISBANE, April 5. (Received April 5, at 10.2 a.m.) New South Wales, in their second innings, lost one wicket fpr 39 runs. Hopkins made 25. New South VYales won by nine wickets. SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIP. The final match between the Milton High School and the Christian Brothers "A" team, played on the Asylum Ground an Saturday, resulted in favor oi the Christian Brothers. Going first to the wickets, thev scored 81 (Casey 44), and Milton replied with 73 (Read 22, Stewart 17): The Christian Brothers' reeord is as follows :—Played, 12 matches, won 10, lost 1, drawn 1.
