BURGLARS AT WORK.
WELLINGTON, February 10
The premises of a Chinese, fruiterer in Pirie street were broken into early last evening, and the safe, containing about £7O, robbed.
AUCKLAND, February 10,
Burglars at Paeroa removed and destroyed a safe from M’Watcrs’s store, and appropriated its contents, amounting to £6O. The, Co-operative Butchery there was also burglarised, but without profit.
