Ross in the chair), the question of including Wellington in the Easter tour came up for consideration. After the pros and cons of the matter had been threshed out it was decided to come to a final decision at the annual meeting of the club, which is to be held early in March, but that in the meantime members be actively canvassed in furtherance of the trip. Several players definitely stated their intention of going to the Northern city should the match with the Poneke Football Club eventuate. The Third Fifteen players subsequently met, when arrangements were made for the match in Christchurch at Easter. CRICKET. The English Eleven play a Bathurst team" to-day and to-morrow. Maclaren's objections to Marsh were sustained, and the latter was withdrawn.
