WELLINGTON, May 26. Mr M'Gnwun is expected to return to Wellington on Tuesday. The city tramway arbitrators have concluded taking evidence. It will be some time, before the award will be announced.
When (he new wing of tho Porirua Asylum is completed the institution will afford accommodation for 513 patients. The cost w ill be £7,500, The Cabinet have authorised the expenditure.
The Seadiff Asylum is being lighted bv electricity. When the works now proceeding in connection with the asylum are completed tho statutory accommodation required will he provided. " ■
