The death is announced of Mr Thomas Elli*, number for Merionethshire (Wales), and chief Liberal whip; aged forly. The London Cyclists' Touring Club profecuted tho landlady of a hotel at Odkham for refusing to serve Viscountess Harberton with lunch except in a bar parlor where a number of smokers were congregated, because the Viscountess wore a rational costume. The landlady was acquitted. Sir Henry Irviog has received a letter from Prince, the man who stabbed Terriss. Prince managed to send the letter without its being known to the asylum officials. In it he threatens to kill Sir H. Irving when he is released. Mr Cox (C ) was elected by a majority of 1.10/5 to replace Mr Ambrose (ft), whoresigned the Harrow seat. , . The Taviuni left Sydney last night, taking a quantity of ammunition for the warships Porpoiß'e and Royalist.
