The amount of revenue collected at the Customhouse on roods cleared for consumption to-dav was iII,SCO 6s. Messrs John Reid and Sons report having purchased, on behalf of a client, section 7, block 3. Maitland street, Dunedin, quarter-acre, with good nine-roomed house thereon; and on behalf of Mrs Keenan, a very nice and compact little farm of 318 acres in block 2, Maungatua' district. They also report haviUg sold fifty acres, being'sections 16 and 18, block 8, North Harbor and-Blueskin district, to Mr John Perniskie; a beautiful quarter-acre section in block 32, George street, Dunedin,'to Mr Manning: and pint of section 12, : block 7, town district, with three cottages thereon, to Mr John M'Kenzie. GRAIN AND PRODUCE JiLARKETS, Messrs Dalgety and Co., Limited, report having held their usual weekly auction sale, when prices ruled as under:— Oats.—The demand for these is confined to local consumption, and prices range on a par with last week’s rates. We quote: Best Sutherlands and seed sorts, 2s 3d to 2s 5d ; good feed. Is Hid to 2s; medium. Is lOd to Is lid. * Wheat —Although prices for. milling seed sorts are unchanged, there is very little being moved off. We offered several lines fowl feed, and sold from 3s 3d to 3s 6d. Barley.—The demand for prime sorts la still good. We offered a few lines of feed, which sold at from 2s 9d to 3s. Potatoes.—There are large quantities now being offered, both from North and South; prices in consequence have fallen. We ’ quote: Prime Northerns, up to £2lss ; prime Southerns, up to £2loa ; inferior sorts, £2 to £2 ss. Chaff.—There is still large quantities of prime chaff offering, and prices are on a par with last week's rates. We quote: Really prime chaff, up to £3los; good oaten chaff, j£3 to £3 sa; medium chaff, £2l2s 6d to £2 17s 6d.,
