INSANITARY FACTORIES
WELLINGTON, June 15. The inspector of factories reported to the City Council last evening .that the practice had grown up of constructing one-room shops, mostly occupied by women, without sanitary appliances, and asked them to prevent the practice. The Council, however, considered that they had no more power in the matter than the inspector.
