The Japanese Consul states that there is no likelihood of an extensive emigration of Japs to Australia Probably the Japanese Government will restrict them to the Queensland sugar plantations and otherplaces where they are not objected to. The emigration of a few thousand would do Japan no good. The Japanese Government do not want to arouse illfeeling in Australia over such a trifling matter.
